Beautiful aromas of blueberry liqueur, blackberries, camphor, vanilla bean and acacia flowers is followed by a well-textured, full-bodied, stunningly opulent, voluptuous wine with profound concentration and silky tannins The Coup de Foudre Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested October 9th, is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Beautiful aromas of blueberry liqueur, blackberries, camphor, vanilla bean and acacia flowers is followed by a well-textured, full-bodied, stunningly opulent, voluptuous wine with profound concentration and silky tannins. Super-pure and intense; this wine was aged for 22 months in new French Oak and will continue to evolve for 20-25 years. 750 cases produced - Winemaker Kent Jarman The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon bursts onto the palate with an attractive array of dark red fruit, licorice, flowers and mint. It shows gorgeous fleshiness and radiance in an attractive style meant to be enjoyed over the near- and mid-term. In 2009 the blend includes 14% Petite Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. This is an absolutely beautiful bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
